About Parasailing
Soar approximately 100 metres above Gran Canaria’s coast on an unforgettable parasailing adventure from Puerto de Mogán. Enjoy the thrill of flying over the Atlantic, with no previous experience or physical effort required.
Take your holiday to new heights as you rise gently into the sky behind a specially designed parasailing boat. From above the water, enjoy panoramic views across the Atlantic and along the spectacular cliffs and coastline of Mogán.
The actual flight lasts approximately eight minutes. It is long enough to enjoy the excitement, take in the scenery and experience the peaceful feeling of floating high above the sea.

Parasailing can be enjoyed alone, as a pair or by three people flying together, depending on the combined weight, weather and sea conditions. Children from five years old may take part when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No previous water-sports experience is needed. The crew provides all the equipment and safety instructions, so first-time flyers can relax and enjoy the experience.

There are no old-fashioned beach take-offs. You take off smoothly from the back of a purpose-built parasailing boat and land back on the boat at the end of your flight. Depending on conditions and the captain’s instructions, you may be offered a completely dry landing or the chance to enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea.
Long cables are used to lift you gradually into the air. The captain manages the speed, angle and cable throughout the flight, while the crew looks after you from take-off to landing.

This activity takes place from Playa de Mogán in Puerto de Mogán. Follow the exact meeting instructions supplied with your booking confirmation.
The activity is available daily, subject to availability and suitable weather. Musement advises customers to arrive between 10:00 and 16:00. Parasailing does not operate as a guaranteed fixed hourly departure because the running order depends on demand, wind and sea conditions. The parasailing flight itself lasts approximately eight minutes, but you should allow up to two hours for the complete experience. Waiting times and the time spent on the boats can vary, particularly during busy periods or if conditions change.

Parasailing combines excitement with an unexpectedly peaceful feeling. Once the cable extends and you rise above the boat, the noise of the water fades and the coastline opens up beneath you. You do not need to steer, balance or control the parachute; the experienced captain and crew manage the flight.

One, two or three people may be able to fly together. The captain makes the final decision about the safest flying configuration based on combined weight, wind and sea conditions. Booking for three people does not override the captain’s safety decision on the day.
In normal conditions, customers may be transferred from the beach to the parasailing boat using the operator’s smaller boats. The precise boarding arrangements can change according to the sea, the operating location and the equipment being used.
Safety and Professionalism
Modern parasailing boats are operated with experienced, licensed captains. Insurance, a life jacket and a full safety briefing are included. Free lockers are available for belongings you do not want to take onto the water.
Listen carefully to the crew’s instructions and tell them before boarding if you have a medical condition or are unsure whether the activity is suitable for you. The captain may refuse participation or change the flying arrangement if there is any concern about a guest’s safety, physical condition, combined weight or the weather.
Who Is Parasailing Suitable For?
Parasailing is suitable for many first-time flyers, couples, families and groups of friends. It requires no previous experience and very little physical effort.
It is not suitable for pregnant guests, people with back problems or guests with reduced mobility. Height, weight and age restrictions may also apply. If anyone in your group has a health condition, limited mobility or is unsure about boarding the boats, please contact us before booking.
Children from five years old can participate when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Weather and Waiting Times
Parasailing is particularly sensitive to wind and sea conditions. For safety, the captain can postpone, relocate or cancel the activity at any time. Conditions can also create waiting times, especially during the busiest months.
If the weather changes after you arrive, you may be offered a later time or date. If the activity is cancelled and it cannot be rearranged, your deposit will be refunded.
Photos and Videos
A photo and video service is offered as an optional service so you can keep a record of your flight without worrying about carrying your own equipment in the air. Photos and videos are not included in the standard ticket price and can be purchased directly.
Ask the team about the current package, price and delivery method before leaving the activity centre.
