Ride your own jet ski along the beautiful west coast of Gran Canaria. Departing from Puerto de Mogán, this one-hour guided safari takes you towards the mountains of Mogán, the sea caves of Tasartico and the coastline of Tasarte.
One-Hour Guided Safari

Ride Alone or Share
Choose a jet ski for one person or share with a friend or family member. Two people can travel together on the same jet ski.
No Previous Experience Required
The jet skis are easy to handle and previous experience is not required. Before setting off, you will receive instructions, safety information and an explanation of how to operate the jet ski.
Puerto de Mogán Departure
The safari departs from Playa de Mogán in Puerto de Mogán, taking you out along one of the most impressive sections of Gran Canaria’s coastline.
- Departure point: Playa de Mogán, Puerto de Mogán.
- Duration: 1 hour with departure times at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 15:00 and 16:00. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your confirmed departure time
- Minimum driver age: 16 years (for drivers aged 16 and 17, a signed parental or guardian authorisation is required, together with valid identification from the person giving permission). Minimum passenger age: 6 years
- Jet ski options: One person riding alone or two people sharing one jet ski. No previous jet ski experience is necessary
- What is included: Jet ski, licensed guide, insurance, life jacket, safety briefing, operating instructions and use of a locker
- Optional Extras: Extra water activities may be available at special discounted rates. Availability depends on the day, sea conditions and the option booked.

- The Jet Ski Safari is suitable for beginners and experienced riders, solo travellers, couples, friends and families with children who meet the minimum age requirements. It is not suitable for pregnant guests or people with back problems.

Jet Ski Safari Adventure Along The West Coast of Gran Canaria
Each safari lasts one hour, and you can choose the available departure time that is most suitable for you. The current time slots are 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 15:00 and 16:00, although availability can vary according to the date and weather conditions.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your confirmed departure time. This gives you time to check in, store your belongings, put on your life jacket and listen to the safety briefing before heading out onto the water.
Your adventure begins at Playa de Mogán in Puerto de Mogán. From here, you will follow your licensed guide along a fantastic section of Gran Canaria’s west coast. The one-hour route takes you in front of the impressive mountains and cliffs of Mogán and towards the sea caves of Tasartico. When the tide and sea conditions allow, you may be able to take a closer look at some of the caves before continuing towards the coastline and beach of Tasarte.
The guide will lead the way and show you where to go, when to slow down and when it is safe to enjoy the speed and power of the jet ski. The precise route can change according to the conditions on the day, because safety always comes first.
As you travel along the coastline, keep a lookout for local marine life. Sea turtles and flying fish are often seen in this area, and dolphins are sometimes spotted too. Wildlife sightings are always a bonus and cannot be guaranteed, but they can make an already exciting experience even more memorable.
Ride Solo or Share Your Jet Ski
You can enjoy the Jet Ski Safari as an individual rider or share the jet ski with a friend or family member. If you want your own jet ski, choose the one-person option. If two people will share one jet ski, choose the two-person option when booking.
The minimum age to drive is 16. Drivers aged 16 or 17 must have signed authorisation from a parent or guardian, together with valid identification from the person giving permission. The minimum passenger age is six years.
No previous experience is necessary. Before the safari begins, the team will explain how to operate the jet ski, the rules you need to follow and the safety signals used by the guide. Life jackets, insurance and the necessary equipment are included.
Photo Opportunities Along the Coast
The Jet Ski Safari gives you and your passenger the opportunity to explore the wonderful coastline of Gran Canaria and get close to huge rock faces, rugged cliffs and sea caves. The guide takes photographs during the excursion, and you can choose to purchase the photos or videos after the activity.
If you would like to take your own GoPro or action camera, make sure it is waterproof and properly secured. Always ask the team before taking any camera equipment onto the jet ski.
Transport and Meeting Information
Return transport is available from selected resorts in the south of Gran Canaria. Your exact pick-up point and time will be confirmed after booking. If you are travelling directly, the departure area is Playa de Mogán in Puerto de Mogán. Follow the meeting instructions in your confirmation so that you arrive at the correct point.
Free lockers are provided at the activity centre, allowing you to store clothing and personal belongings safely while you are on the water. We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, sun protection and any identification or parental authorisation required for your booking.
